Tom wants to get to know the country of his Irish ancestors. He soon discovers that Ireland is in full swing. It escapes the pressure of the Catholic Church and finally manages to withstand the centuries-long rule of the English. But just when the future looks so hopeful, England decides to Brexit. This will undoubtedly have very serious consequences for the Irish. For trade, migration, but also for the simmering conflicts between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
